Race for the Cure!

Last weekend was the big OKC Race for the Cure. The Women's Outreach Center had a team of 28 people and raised over $1,000! We all had a great time!
On a side note, Chris finished the 5K 78th for his age group- it is okay, you can officially hate him with me....he didn't really train at all because he would always walk with me while we were working out.

Here are just a few pictures from the day!

My awesome boss, Kathy and her daughter, Ella...

Darcy and Bruce!
In celebration of the first day of Fall, I decided that I should make my first pie of the season! For some reason I have gotten into a pie-making kick; Chris is loving it...
Here is our little angel tuckered out during the OU/Baylor game last week.
Sunday we headed to the Norman bark park for the first time. The puppies got to make a few new friends and were very excited to be there!
For those of you who don't know, we had a puppy emergency on Monday night. When Chris got home from dropping me off at 4:30 for class, he came home to bloody puppy prints everywhere. So he spent 3 1/2 hours cleaning up the mess while I was in class. When he came to pick me up at 10:00 he told me what happened. The bleeding in Kaikeyi's paw hadn't stopped when I got home at 10:15, so we decided to take her to the 24hr vet up the road. She needed 3 stitches. The whole ordeal lasted until a little past 3:00 that morning. Kaikeyi was a little champ through it all! She was very drugged and upset on the car ride home, but she was definitely happy to be back home.
Here is our cutie in her E-collar that she had to wear so she wouldn't lick her paw.
Here is a quick picture of our new friend...he was attached to our back door.

Tomorrow marks the beginning of the third trimester for our pregnancy. It is crazy how fast it is going by! We are just praying that everything goes smoothly until our finals are over in December; other than that, we are ready to meet our little guy!

Just for fun, here is the latest pic of the baby bump...
