Drum roll, please...

here is THE Diaper Cake!

Some of you know that my cousin, Stef's diaper cakes are becoming a trademark in our family. Kaci (Stef's sister) helped too! We have all been waiting with much anticipation for baby P's diaper cake. We were so excited when we found out that it would be ready last week! It is so amazing that we didn't have the heart to take it a part! Of course, we had to have a little photo shoot...it can't stay the centerpiece of our dinning table forever...

Oh, wait did I forget to mention that she sewed everything including this stuffed robot without a pattern? That is right, she rocks!

Eli loves his diaper cake!

"Thank you, aunt Stef and aunt Kaci!"

"Mom, look, this robot is as big as me!"

Thanks, Stef & Kaci...we can't wait to see the other cakes that you will be making in the future for us (wink).

Here is the E-man's new swimsuit! Some of you might know that we are making plans for our big 5 year anniversary trip to Hawaii this December. I saw this adorable suit and had to get it...I just couldn't wait.
Why on earth are you bringing your kid with you on your anniversary trip, you ask?
Oh, don't worry, we will have at least 4 babysitters coming along as well. Besides, he is just too cute to leave at home...

We can't believe it is over...

Graduation. It is so funny to think that this whole law school "thing" is over. What a roller coaster ride the last 3 years have been. We are so grateful that we had the opportunity for Chris to get his law degree and Tif to get her masters. We know that many people don't have the same opportunities and we are just very grateful.

That being said...these were the best, hardest, most stressful, depressing, joyful three years of our lives. What a ride. Thank God it is over! :)

Mother's Day

I thank God every day for my beautiful, healthy baby boy. I can't believe how quickly he is growing up. I can't wait to see what the future has in store for him. I am so grateful that I have been given such a precious gift.

Thank you to all of the amazing women in my life- my mom, my mother-in-law, my grandmothers, aunts and friends...I have learned so much from all of you!

Happy Mother's Day!

Here are just a few pictures of the little guy!
Can you believe how much he has changed???

Birthday/Anniversary

Happy birthday to the wonderful man that I am blessed enough to call my husband. I thank God for you every single day. Also, today marks the year anniversary that we found out that we were pregnant with Eli- yes, we found out on Chris’s 30th birthday last year. I don’t know if anything will ever top that gift.

Chris,
There are no words. Your strength and wisdom, your support and love- I know that we were truly made for one another. Eli is so lucky to have you for a daddy. This past year has brought so many small moments that I will treasure always. I am so glad that we are in this journey together. I am so proud of everything that you have accomplished and who you are. I love you.

By the way, just for kicks, I took a pregnancy test and we will not be celebrating another baby anniversary…at least not today. :)
