Happy Halloween!

Here are our little monster's 1st Halloween pictures. Man, there are so many great pictures it was really hard to choose which to edit and even harder to choose which to post. The plan was for me to make E's costume- I have made the dog's for years- but then we stumbled on this adorable outfit for cheaper than I could make.

Get ready for some serious cuteness...

We can't believe how fast Eli is growing up!

Our little monster had a late 9 month check-up yesterday. He is 20.2lbs and 29in long. The nurse said he was a perfect little boy...we happen to agree. We are very excited that we finally have a pediatrician for Eli. He hasn't had one since he was in the hospital. Our student health insurance did not cover a pediatrician, so he saw a regular general doctor. We are so thankful that he has been so healthy and that we haven't needed to go to the doctor for anything but check-ups.

We are also happy to report that the big guy has 2 more teeth! Now he is our 5-toothed little monster.
I don't want to forget the puppies!
I don't know the last time that I have blogged about our first and second born, Callie and Kaikey. They are a little sad that they don't get to dress up this year, but I think they will get over it!
Just for fun here is their picture from 2 years ago...it always puts a smile on my face! They are such good sports!

Hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween!

So we caved...

and bought a highchair. As much as we tried to avoid it, the booster combo that we had wasn't cutting it anymore for our little guy and his "big boy" foods.
Here was our breakfast Sunday morning of bananas.

For fun I sat Eli in his laundry basket a couple of days ago...and of course I had to get the camera.

He really didn't know what to think...

Kaikeyi came to offer support!

Last week we also got dressed in our crimson and went to an OU/texas watch party. Here is Eli practicing his touchdown move...sure wish we could have used it a little more during the game!

Our little pumpkin

Over Chris's lunch break yesterday, we jetted outside for a 3 min. photo shoot of Eli. I knew yesterday would probably be the only suitable day this week for a baby to be outside in a diaper, so we had to work fast!
Eli was wonderful. The pumpkin was a bit on the small side, but we made it work!

PS- Thanks to Monica and Tom- I think I stole this idea from yall! You did this with Katie Lynn, right? Ever since I saw those pictures I have been dying to get baby pictures in a pumpkin! Thanks for the inspiration!

9 months!

Can you believe that Eli is 9 months old today!?!
We can't. We just can't.

This month Eli has gained another tooth and added mangos, white potatoes, and pumpkin to his diet. He began eating "real food" (or non-pureed) and is cruising all around our living room.

He was sleeping very well, but with his teething that has been a distant memory the last couple of weeks. His front, top, right tooth was really hard on him! Now he has what appears to be a Chicklet sticking out of his little swollen gums. Poor kid...he will probably take after his mamma and have huge woodchuck front teeth!

He is not a quiet baby...he is constantly making little happy noises.

He loves to look up and flash that heart-melting smile...

and he loves to stick anything and everything in his mouth.

Happy 9 month birthday, baby boy. You are such a joy. We are so proud of you.

Here is our 8 month scrapbook page!

Family again...

Here is Derek's crew at the party!

Look at those beautiful blue eyes!

I love this picture!

We had such a fun day with all of the kiddos! We are so happy that Eli has such great cousins to play with!

Family

Aren't they such a beautiful family!?!

These were all taken at my mother-in-laws birthday party a few weeks ago. We had a lot of fun seeing everyone!
