Christmas Eve at Nanny's

Our family has our big event on Christmas Eve. We always go to the candelight service, and we were very excited that our family filled up two whole pews!

After church we head to Nanny's for dinner and to open presents!
Here is Lori and her snowman she made out of coolwhip for dad's pumpkin pie!

Holiday Projects...

After Chris's finals we headed back home to Texas to get ready for Christmas with our families. We had a few fun projects lined up like making lighted brick 'gifts' for everyone in our family. Besides that we also had a fun date planned with our beautiful nieces to decorate Christmas cookies at grandma's house in Canyon.
This is just one of the few traditions that we want to have with our kids whenever they come, so we just thought it would be fun to start a few years early.

Here is grandma, Addy, aunt Tif, Morg and Peyton decorating...uncle Chris is the photographer... The girls did a great job, and we are looking forward to doing it again next year!

The next night we headed up to Nanny's in White Deer for some mad Wii playing!

3 Years!

For our three year anniversary this year I wanted to surprise Chris because he had been working so hard the last few weeks of the semester for his finals. So, I planned our anniversary celebration a little early so that we could do something special before we headed home for the Christmas break.

The Skirvin Hotel in OKC- absolutely beautiful...if you are ever needing somewhere to stay in OKC downtown this is a must.

I fell in love with these chairs!!! They were dark blue velvet with zebra pattern armrests and a black and white floral on the back.

Iceskating in downtown...two years in a row we didn't fall! WooHoo!

Ice Storm 2007

Thank you to everyone for the thoughts, calls and prayers while we were going through the crazy ice storm this last week.

Thankfully, we never completely lost power, even though most of Norman did. I think that was because we live in a newer home addition and are on the southern edge of town. We really didn't realize how bad it was until we were able to get out of the house later in the week.

Here are the pups keeping warm in front of the heater...

Our basketball goal...

Our favorite tree that we have in front of the house...it is laying on our neighbor's fence.

Here are a few pictures of the campus... it really looked like a tornado went through because of all of the down trees. It was really sad.

Just couldn't help myself...

I just had to add a picture of one of our two little angels.
