Red River Wedding!

We had the wonderful opprotunity to go to Red River to shoot a wedding for some dear friends of ours. It was beautiful and what I would consider a perfect day!
It was "technically" a working vacation, but we managed to sneak in a little fun. :)

Ileigh must have been hungry...

I can't believe they wanted to do it!

Ileigh loved looking for the squirrels...

Awwww....
Weddings make us all lovey-dovey....

Our kiddos favorite thing to do!

Again?! Crazies!

Just for fun, here is what we've been up to back at the house...

Decisions, decisions....

Icecream party!

We finally got on the ball and hosted a little neighborhood icecream party!
It was something that we wanted to do all summer, but we finally made time for it...with just days until school started!

We know most everyone, but it was really neat to all be together chatting. We seriously love our little house, surrounded by so many wonderful people!

Here's to the -now annual- party! ;)

Half Year Photos

So happy we were able to make a little time to take these little cuties' half-year pictures this weekend!
Also very happy that daddy could make the awesome tent for a prop too!

This little one lives her momma's heels...the pink ones are always the favorite!

And that ADORABLE little dress! How does she look so grown up?!

That laugh still melts my heart!

With the help of some friends, we got some grey shots of both of them...together...smiling...at the same time.
Miraculous!

Gosh, they are cute!

White Deer Rodeo

Rodeo weekend in White Deer is one of our favorites of the entire year!

Ileigh loved bossing the horsies around!

This year we started off Saturday morning with birthday donuts for Gramps!

The kiddos were happy to help blowout the candles.

Next, it was time for the big parade.
I have to say, the WD parade is one of the best parades ever. Tons of candy, tons pride and just the right length!

This little girl stayed with mommy and daddy while bubba rode in the fire truck with gramps.

She pretty much perfected the art of 'getting-as-much-candy-as-possible-during-parades'.

Look at that stash!

Cody with the open bag approach...

After the parade was some bounce house fun....

and tractor rides!

After that we had to rush home to shoot a wedding, but what a fun time!

Ileigh Grace- 2 1/2

Oh, Ileigh. You're so big; when did this happen?
You, my little one have some personality. You are pretty much the most adorable thing on the planet, along with a fierce little attitude to go with it.

Look at that smile. Those dimples.

This is your 'cheese' face. You close you eyes tight and smile big. Adorable.

You LOVE to dance. Anywhere. Anytime.

This is my new favorite picture. You are so carefree...I love your fearless attitude. You are amazing.

You still love to be thrown in the air, but you get a little antsy on an elevator. You don't like the crack in between the floor and the elevator. Maybe you have a little of your daddy's fear of hights?

Ileigh, I have to tell you, I was terrified of having a girl. Terrified.
And I'm not going to lie, the two years of your life was solidifying my thoughts.
But over the last six months you have stolen my heart. Completely.
It's almost as if those long, sleepless nights are decades away.
You sleep all night in your big girl bed.
Our days are full of a dancing, singing, smiling precious girl.
And smart. You are one smart cookie.

I am so, so very thankful that I get to be your mommy. And out of all the little girls in the world, I'm so glad you are ours.

My love, sunshine.
Thanks for making our days brighter...
