The next morning we got up (super) early and road the uni rail to the Polynesian Resort for breakfast at the Ohana restaurant with Lilo and Stitch.
We were all still reeeeeeealy tired from the day before.
Thankfully, we had made reservations months in advance, so we didn't wait long.
This was Eli watching the dance parade begin....
I did a lot of research into what character dinner we should do. Basically, we ended up at Ohana's because of A) price, B) I could almost guarantee my kids would find something on their breakfast buffet to eat, even if it was just fruit, and C) Lilo and Stitch was an actual Disney movie that my kiddos had seen- score!
Ileigh really didn't like the costumes...
Pretty much scared for life. :)
Eli didn't mind though! Love this photo of daddy, son and the M-man.
After breakfast we made our way to Animal Kingdom...
The safari ride was definitely the coolest ride there- it was the only ride we had to use a fastpass on...totally worth it.
It was basically like a drive thru zoo/safari/jungle, where nothing was in cages and the animals all roamed around each other- even right up to the jeep that we were riding in...
Apparently Jeep rides are very calming....
Someone perked up when daddy offered a shoulder ride!
On the other side of the park was a carnival type feel and the kiddos loved riding all the rides.
We saw the Nemo show right before the park closed (it closed at 6 I think). The show was great and the kids loved it!
On the way out this lovely worker made sure our kiddos learned a lot and had a good time.
We went back to Tammie's house and got to meet everyone for dinner at the Cheesecake Factory! Yumm-o.
Of course, our kiddos were so exhausted that they slept right through it...it was nice for some grown-up chatting though!
